All,
I bravely decided to completely clean out the brake calipers and pushed the piston out of the caliper and cleaned everything up. But now I can't get the piston back into the caliper through the rubber seal on the caliper. I lubricated the seal with rubber grease but the seal won't slip over the back end of the piston to enable the piston to be pushed back into place.
Anyone got any tips how to reinsert the piston through the seal without damaging the seal.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Regards
Michael

wun911,
At this stage I have only done one of the fronts. I took off the caliper and then had someone gently press the brake pedal so that the pressure slowly pressed out the piston.
