I have recently acquired some superstreets. Problem is the nut that is welded to the LCA that has a bolt going to it through the bottom of the coilovers has snapped. Easy enough I thought! So I dremeled a bit off the LCA, got to the bolt, Held it down with a screw and let my ratchet do the work. About a minute of winding it out, it hasn't moved out! So I suspect the bolt's thread has been stripped, god knows why! So I went to town with a angle grinder today and man is it tough work.
While doing this, I thought or something easier, but I have neither the skills or tools to do it. If anyone can help me with this, I'll definitely pay for the services. But I was thinking of welding off the parts in blue.Once, I have easier access to the bolt, I can just angle grind off the head of the nut so it should just slip out. If anyone can help me out with this, I will be very greatful and happy and godknows what else!
The nut in question!
