So I fixed up my bearing issue- refer to this thread- viewtopic.php?f=30&t=34017&hilit=cv+joint

Changed, upper control arms, lower control arms, changed all bolts [ long bolt was bent], and replaced whole hub assembly.

Now the "grinding sound" due to a mcfucked bearing is gone, BUT my offending rear left wheel still moves in and out.

ie/ when I push the car or when its moving, at one point the tyre/wheel move out towards the body, and then at another point it moves back in again. making it go in and out as if the wheel is rippling and is about to fall out.

Though I still haven't gone for an alignment yet, I want to make sure that its not something else.

Can excessive camber, and toe make the wheel move in and out? [note: toe out is 14mm]

Or could it be a buckled wheel....

Thanks Adam, I did a test fitment with a different set of wheels, and it looks like the wheel is buckled, need to do a road test to confirm 100%.

I don't get any shimmy at higher speeds though, with the buckled wheel.

thanks, I'm pretty confident it is.

I guess it's an excuse for some new rims
