just wondering if anyone has used these? I have read a few varying reports that they take a few laps to come on and seem to get too hot and start sliding around. all reports are on much heavier cars with lots more power (911's and zo6's).

I had honest advice from the local Michelin motorsport dealer about these. Basically he said he sold them as a control tyre for the 944 series. They take a few more laps to warm up on the heavier 944s compared to Proxes, Advans, etc, and they are too hard for an MX5 and he wouldn't recommend them

yep, manga is right, the sport cup is designed pretty much specifically for the Porsche Carrera Cup series, so built for a much heavier car that goes a tad harder than any MX-5 on the racetrack, it'd take a month of Sundays to warm them to anywhere near their recommended temp in your car 16bit

CC cars use full slicks - its oem for gt3 and alike but yes totally not suited.
