Does anyone know if the paint finish on NA daisy wheels is a wrinkle paint (around the spokes) or painted rough casting. I had in mind using paint stripper and then hand polishing with autosol stripper. If its casting then I'll forget it after spending days smoothing my intake! Alternatively what is a similar colour to original in a spray can.
Thanks Dave.

If you spray enough paint on them then the roughness should go away.

Daisy wheel paint finish
I can't imagine that the wheels would be a rough casting, if they are they would be the first i have ever seen. I would imagine the paint would be a texture finish. supercheap sell mag wheel paint in a few colours. It sticks like shite to a babys blanket, and has a good finish out of the spray can.
