Issues fitting PSS9's

We were installing PSS9's yesterday and ran into an issue where the rear coilover was too close to the drive shaft. We were trying to achieve the same ride height that we had with the standard shock/peddars spring however the lock nut that adjusts the ride height was going to come into contact with the drive shaft if we went any lower than what was nearly stock ride height.

Has anyone else had a similair issue and if so what was the solution? We are currently considering a shorter spring so that the height adjusting lock nut is located higher up the shock's body.

If Big Dog has any advice it would be appreciated as I believe he is running PSS9's on his SP.

Can't say that I had any problems at all Rob. Perhaps you have mixed up front and rear shocks? I will jack mine up shortly and take a piccy for you.

Ok, I have a couple of pix for you... My guess is that you have either a bent lower arm, or the whole rear end is badly out of alignment - the nuts are close on mine, but not that close.
