I just wanted to know what are the appropriate spring rates that matches the KYB AGX shocks? I've had a look around this forum and couldn't find anything =[. Or, if anyone know a website that shows this?

At the lowest setting they are supposed to be equivalent to OEM damping rates.

I think at hardest they are about double the OEM rates. If you search the big forum you might find dyno plots or more info. FM used to sell them with their springs, so that should give you some indication.

It appears that FM sells the springs designed for Tokico Illumina shocks. I remember these are adjustable shocks as well so i hope FM didn't change their springs when they decided to go for these shocks instead of the AGX's
in any case, the rates according to my calculation are

F: 5.68kg/mm
R: 4.16kg/mm

Hi I am not sure what you are asking but the AGX 2= std 3+7.5% 4+15% 5+43% 6+72% 7+97% 8+123% and KYB won't guarantee them with springs above 50% over standard.

I guess my question is what is the best spring that suits to the adjustability of the AGX shocks. I realise that once i adjust the bound and rebound of the shocks, they won't be matched, so i'm searching for the best compromise.

i don't quite understand your answer.

firstly, the AGX's for NB's only have 4 settings.
off-the-shelf options for springs are kings(lows) and eibachs.
kings are better suited for track use - stiffer than eibachs.
eibachs better suited for every day road use.
from what ive seen, both give almost the same ride height.

personally ive got king springs and cant complain. but watch ur teeeth shatter on bumpy roads...even on softest setting.
