Falken RT615 V Advan A-460

RT615 205/50x15 28 psi
A-460 195/50x16 32 psi
I had no idea what the advan is supposed to be like. I knew nothing about it.
The Falken is now below the markers on all tyres. The compound should be Ok, its only 20 mths old. I guess it was due to start going off soon as it doesn't get garaged.
Advans are 2nd hand. Back ground unknown tread is about 80-90% at the fronts rears are prolly down to 30%.
However last night and this morning I've managed to give them a reasonable go in the wet.
I really like the them . Initial turn is is more responsive. I love that part. but overall grip in the wet is less than the RT 615. Even though I run the A_460 at 32psi the sidewall seems a fair bit stiffer than the RT-615. At least on 32 psi, the A-460 wants to shake everything & is pretty unforgiving over bumps. But fantastic over smooth surfaces.
I guess the real test will be putty road......if there are any dry bits.
The tyre is a fraction taller than the Falken.....
But overall I love the quicker turn in the Advan has over the Falken.
Not sure if the Advans needs a warm up like the Falken. But I haven't had the chance to find out.
Not sure how these tyres will wear.
but overall so far I quite like the Advans.
