Ok chaps,

I've come across a set of wheels that I like, simple 5-spoke design.
My question to you, what is the standard offset on an NB8C SE Racing Hart?

These new rims are 18" x 8" with an 8P offset (I have no idea what 8P means, as i've only ever heard of +20/+40 etc) and yes they are 4 x 100 PCD.

Any ideas?

Dino!

04 Racing heart has a 40mm offset.

Offsets are sometimes referred to as being ~p or ~m (i.e. an "8p" offset or a "5m" offset, etc.) which again indicates roughly how far plus or minus the offset is.

I believe audi's use ~p, try the eurocca forum for more info.

Are you trying to give Wun a heart attack??? Love the rims by the way, I think they would look great on your car. From what I can gather 8p is a type of Audi ie Audi A3 8p. Sure there is no ther info regards offset?

8P is +8

P = Positive

They'd fit an NA, dunno about a NB

Don't worry there's so many screws around the hub... he can just leave every 3rd one in or something... she'll hold...

May not be a genuine 2 or 3 piece wheel, so you could take all the screws out anyway !

Well where you put the air in is already missing one bolt, so could probably get away with every third bolt, at least give it a try.

Ehhh they are fake two piece wheels? So some dude jb welded the two pieces together so you can get rid of all the screws? Man thats a cool weight saving idea.

That and make the P8 offset to like + 40 with an angle grinder.

Still my 16" OEM will be lighter

Will just need to lose about 100 kg and can beat his SE....

Fake 2 piece. From what I have read they are very expensive genuine 2 piece wheels. Wun you love that angle grinder wayyyyyy too much and going from the list of bits he just bought I would say you would need to lose more than 100kg's

Cheers,
