Swaybar brackets

While in Tassie I cracked my second swaybar mounting bracket on my NA (the bracket that bolts to the chassis rails). No doubt its because I have a stiffer Swaybar (20mm). Does anyone know if these can be purchased in a stronger metal. I had my first one welded but would prefer not to do that again. Thanks.

I've had this bracket some slightly loose recently, so I've also got some concerns over it.

I'm running the Racing Beat Tubular along with their Brace kit maybe this may help?

How in the world did you break the mount... TWICE!?

20mm is only 1mm bigger than standard.

Thanks for that 1red5. There are a lot of corners on the targa rally route! My mistake - it was a 25mm bar. I like the solution Racing beat has and you can see in Mactype's picture how flimsy the OEM bracket is. However Mactype still seems to be having trouble. Maybe AWR's is the way to go - pricey though, and I'm surprised no one is knocking them up here.

Time will tell if I'm going to have continued problems but it was only after fitting a quite heavy front spring rate that I noticed some noise in the front end under hard cornering and tracked it down to the bolts on this bracket being a bit loose.

I also can't recall running a spanner over them when I fitted everything to the car so it may be unfair of me to point the finger and say its not holding up ok.
