which wheels to buy??

I've got to decide on some wheels, this car will be a supercharged weekend driver/track car and I've narrowed it down to two wheels
Enkei RPF1 15x7 35 offset
6UL 15x8 36 offset

I've had the enkeis before and they're a great wheel but I'm maybe looking for a bit more girth (on the rim that is :) ). Does anyone have any comments on their 6UL's as I'm not totally sold on them yet.

What model mx5 and what track racing did you have in mind?

Some classes require you not to go over 1\" wider than your standard rim.

What brakes do they have to clear?

I just noticed you said supercharged....so I doubt you'll be any class with wheel width restrictions

I'd go the 6UL's, wider with a lower offset. Also quite a good price. Expect to need quite a lot of camber and some guard rolling if you run over 205 wide rubber though.

ohhh was reading about 6UL, I think slighly lighter than RPF1.

Can 6UL in 15\" fit on NB8B??

I havent seen a 6UL in 40+ offset?? (less weight than +35)

The 6UL's are heavier, RPF1 9.8pds, 6UL 12.8pds

The 6UL's can clear the NB8B+ sport brakes. The RPF01's cant.

^^ True that!! ^^

I am actually having the same problem as you Mossy.. I have been trying to decide between the 15x7 +35 RPF1's, and the 15x7 +25 ITA 6UL's.. Who were you going to buy the Enkei's from? I think im going to go whith them..
