No, not for Tyra...

I apparently need new boots for the BMW for compliance. But the same Michelin Pilot Sports that are on it are $550 each
Anyone shopped in this size and have any recommendations?

Doesn't need to be too hard core, but I don't want crap either... gotta stay safe! (and ideally quiet)

cheers,
m.

There are some new Khumos that are a direct replacement for the Pilots.
My father fitted them to his Merc wagon, and they ride nicely and are very quiet.

I have drĂven the car, but not in anger, so I can't really comment about how well they grip, but they felt quite good to me in normal, spirited driving.

They were cheap too, at around $180 per tyre.

The PP2's come in that size matched up to BMW 3 Series & 5 Series on the michie webpage. Im sure they will be alot cheaper then the price you quoted.

Toyo T1-R are well priced and good in the wet - perfect for Melbourne.

Ended up choosing some Toyo TEOs - not really sure how good they are, but a)price was OK, and b)didn't have access to the car to take it anywhere, so left it to the workshop to source them.

Good news is I get the car tonight!
