Fornt sway bars and bushing

What do people recommend. Whiteline? Racing Beat? other?

I saw on the whiteline website they have adjustable for $220 and standard for $177. Is it worth getting adjustable?

Also looking at getting bushing. I believe mine are knackered. I saw the post regarding the Energy suspension HyperFlex bushings from the 949racing mob. They seem cheap but i enquired and shipping was US$130. Admittedly that was including the Racing Beat swaybar. Have sent an email without the sway bar to see how much it will end up being. If they end up being too exy what does everyone use/recommend.

Not sure where you live but mx5 mania sell Signature sway bars, basically the same as whiteline, but you can powder coat in desired colour, they also come with the super pro bush to match.


Yeah get adjustable. You can tune the balance of the car to your liking.


Bushes, I'd try super pro with more offset for better alignmnet. I thought 949 racing sold them, otherwise try FM.

Geoff, I have a non-adjustable front Whiteline, 24mm solid, with their own poly bushes. (stock rear)
Have a drive in mine one day and see if you like the neutrality of it.

Adjustables are a MUST, otherwise you are just left with fine tuning your alignment to take care of the understeer.

When that doesn't work you need to add adjustable end links ($140 per pair) and preloading the bar to get the balance you require.

I'm assuming that you have an NA if you want to replace the bushes. If it's an NC then you must get the adjustable rear bar as well because the understeer caused by the front bar is impossible to dial out.

no probs. www.flyinmiata.net look under suspension. They're much more expensive, but arguably better, especially the offset ones, more people have used them too so you know its good.

I'll be at the dodgy day around 1pm.
We can always set up a time during the week/weekend beforehand though if you like.
I should be at the Macleans Bridge Mothers' day show'n'shine next Sunday too.

N*Power sells adjustable whitelines, contact them and I'm sure they will give you a good deal.

Be patient and don't buy anything until you have a drive in mine, cause if you like how mine handles, then all you need is a front one.

Correct if wrong, which i'm fairly sure i am not, super pro and whiteline D bushes are both made on site at Fulcrum? evesham street marooka?

so same bushes just different colour!

i bought adjustable signature sways front and rear with superpro bushes. adjustable is the way to go, it's only a little bit more expensive but it allows you so much more tuning flexibility.
