hey guys i booked in to get some new tires fitted and a wheel alignment

i took it there first thing this morning. went inside with the keys. he took one look at the car and said it cant be done. he couldnt get it up the ramp, which didnt look to inclined to me and i drive the car. so he is fitting the tires as they are done on a hoist.

he then told me that another Bob Jane further up the road do it over a pit. so my best chances are there. ive called the guy now and he said it depends how low the car is because if a beam of light cant reach the other side it cant be measured

so im going to take the car to the other place to see if they have any issues with it.

has anyone had an issue with this?
im after a full alignment. i want it set up properly as it looks out to my eye. the caster toe and camber are all visually out.
or does anyone know of a place in melbourne who can do this properly?

http://www.thetyresolution.com.au/ - Burwood Rd Hawthorn. They have a dead flat roll on hoist for alignments.

Was recommended by Pedders Hawthorn (who know their stuff). Guy there used to work for Dunlop Motorsport.

Centreline suspension in thomastown did an excellent job on my car. It took them about 2 hours to do the alignment, and several test drives to make sure it was all spot on.. They do alot of track cars.. cost was $90 for a 4 wheel alignment, but well worth it.

thanks guys!

got it sorted. i had a Bob jane in Doncaster do it. as was getting desperate.
the service was fantastic and the guy had 25 year experience and was also from a motorsport background - very happy with the results and was a full wheel alignment for $66!

just for a laugh ill show you the report cos was way out from when i had the suspension changed over - hence why my tires were shagged
