14\" tyre question

Gentle forum folks,
The Yokohama A539s on our NA6 need replacement, but are no longer made.
What do you folks still running 14\" wheels suggest in 185/60/14 82h tyres?
A friend has Kumho Ku31s, which replaced his 15\" A539s, says that they are as good as the A539s, but they are not made in a 14\" versions.
TIA,
Chris

I replaced my 14\" 539s with C-drive which I'm equally happy with.

Chris, I am in the same predicament. However, I have been told that Bridgestone Adrenalin's will become available in 14inch come August. This is a fantastic tyre - and a cheap one too.
I'm making do until this comes out.

i have c-drives on my 14's but have done very little driving on them yet. initial impressions - they were quite, smooth and grippy .. a very good road tyre but i have yet to really push them to the limit. i also have c-drives on my 15's and i have done a lot more driving on this set. in my experience the 15\" c-drives are a very good tyre in wet conditions, and in normal temperatures. however on a hot day / hot road surface they tend to lose a lot of their grip. same goes for track, they don't seem to have a lot of grip.
given that i will eventually be using my 14\" rims more often than my 15s', i'll probably end up going for the adrenalins when the time comes to replace the 14\" c drives, given that my experience with the 15\" c drives has been a bit mixed. in my opinion they are not really the \"all rounder\" tyre that my research led me to believe they would be.... but who knows, maybe the 14\" ones are better than the 15\" ones.. different sidewall height / stiffness, and other factors, could make a big difference i suppose.

I'm happy with the Bridgestone G3s on mine, but the rears are starting to look a little low, so I see a set of Adrenalines in my future...

X2
Done a few hundred k's and one track day and they look near-new.
Lots of grip on the track, but then again, my car is a neutral handler.
Very confident in wet weather.

It's a pity you can't get the G3's anymore
I may have to change my tyres in July... I've only got a couple of mm of tread left and I don't think it'll last me until August

Still available on the Bridgestone website in 185/60/14?
http://www.bridgestone.com.au/tyresearch/TyreResult.aspx?width=185&aspect=60&rim=14&load=82&speed=H%20%20%20%20&type=PSRMy current tyres hate the wet weather so I will also be looking out for another set soon.

Yeah I bought some about four months ago. Good value and perform well. Adrenalines will be my next tyre though.

C-drives replaced A539's... C's were better in the wet. Replaced C's with Kuhmo Solus (kh15 i think), have slightly less grip but alot cheaper.

A drives are marketed as their economy tyres....I doubt many people would compromise tyre performance to save a couple of bucks
Unless you mean the A.drive R1 AR01, and not the A.drive AA01, but the AR01 dont come in 14s anyway
