Raising/Lowering suspension NA6 & NA8 King/ Koni sports

I have an NA6 with the Koni Sports & king spring combo.
This is relevant to all NA6's & NA8's which have the same set up.
This procedure may be considered dodgy by some. But if all you want to do is raise the suspension or lower it. Its not nececary to remove the whole shock. It can be done with The shock in place & takes about 20 min.
in the below pic
Here you can see the shock with the cup that holds the spring. The cup is held in place by a clip. Just below the cup you can see a grove which is the lowest setting.
so all you want to do is move the clip into the desired grove
all you need to do is move the cup whch holds the spring in place. to ecpose the circlip.
what you need
average size screwdriver
Sledge hammer handle
Cow bar
thats what I used doesn't really matter what you use to lever it with as long as you raise the cup evenly
All you do is place the levers the levers on the half shaft & the lower suspension arm. Raise the cup enough to expose the circlip. Then move the Circlip to the desired position and make sure its placed in the grove correctly. Lower the cup & there you are.
There things in life which need to be done correctly. I think this is safe enough as long as you get the circlip correctly back into its grove. You may scrach some of the paint off the shock ( ) but other than that you may bent the cup..... But its easy enough.
I had to be a little creative with the handle forcing upwards & the crow bar downwards & used my foot to hold the crow bar so i had 1 hand free to move the circlip with the screw driver.
Not rocket science. Straight forward.
I'll get some more pics once I do it again.
Took me just on 20 min in the poring rain for the rear end only.
I did the front like that a few months ago.
