Brake pads for NC?

I'm wondering what brake pads people recommend for the NC if you want to do a bit of track work (and still drive it on the road)?
Also does the NC use the same size pads as the NB or the SE (or something totally different)?
ps. Raced Brakes were suggesting RB74s at the front and Comp2 for the back.

OEM work for me.

OEM is fine if you’re plenty of meat on them. Mine wore out by 17,000 kilometres and 5 track days so check their thickness.
I changed the brake fluid to a DOT 4 rating as I experienced a bit of fade after a series of heavy braking corners. Never had a problem since.
I have also changed to Hawk HPS pads up front. Gives another 100 degrees Celsius in working temperature but you need a bit of temperature in the pad on a winters morning for it to work properly.

Thanks guys, but more than OEM is needed as the pads are already fading even on the road when you start leaning on them.
So any other suggestions? And also are they the same size as NB, SE or totoally different?

you must be leaning on them pretty hard then David, that is one thing that REALLY impresses me on the NC, is the brakes, i've yet to have any brake fade...............haven't done any track stuff tho

Completely different pads from the NA / NB.
Hawk HPS are around $160, OEM $180 without the clips and another $50 with the clips.
If you are getting fade it will generally be the fluid. Change it.
I'm running Penrite Racing 600 Super DOT 4 and never had a fade on the track, even with OEM pads, since puting it in.

Thanks for that, and good to know.

Yeah, it'll need that as well ... probably dot5.1.
Hawk HPS are around $160
That's a good price for Hawks. Where's that from?
