I keep hearing the name Heasman's pop up every now and then. Any recommendations for them?

They're located conveniently close to where I work at St Peter's in Sydney.

Thanks, marcusus. That's the mob I was looking for!

Looking at their website, I see they hold Car Club Tech Nights. Has the MX-5 Club ever held a tech night there?

Not to my knowledge. See what I can do.
Benny has his cars done at Heasmans. They have been around for years doing work on a lot of race cars and exoticas.

That would be great, CB!

If you can get one organised, I would definitely be there to see what they could do to a MX-5 :!:

Bowers in Newcastle have a good reputation and are a TEIN dealer.

Heasmans did a tech night for us many years ago. They even bought their shock rebuilding truck along that they take to the race tracks to give us a look. Very impressive bit of gear.

Thanks, Muzdaman.

I had Bowers install the TEIN Super Street suspension on Monday, and yesterday I had JAX fit a set of Michelin PP2s. My MX-5 feels better than new! I think I hear O'Sullivan's Gap calling? :P 8)

Doug Heasman is the wheel aligner @ heasman's. He seems to have alignment experience with NA's but not so much with NB's. Nice bloke FTW!

I remember that night, I learnt plenty, and picked up a desire for a set of PSS9s 8)

I never had much luck with Bowers, IIRC they told me not to bother putting Koni's in my MX5 and proceeded to quote me MORE than the Koni price to fit a standard replacement type of shock. I didn't bother going back.

They do seem to carry a good reputation though, so I guess thier work must be fair. With a set of Teins though, there's not much they could go too wrong with 8)
