I have just upgraded the NA1600 to 1800 rotors, brackets and pads + braided lines - they work well except on hard braking the LHS rear locks up - gave me grief at WPk last Sunday.
Any hints at what I can check as I have backed the ajustment off a bit on that side but it still is braking more than the other 3 corners.

My rear sway bar (OEM) creaps across to the LHS and eventually bumps on the upper susp arm when you hit bumps. It must be affecting its operation as well. Any Idears why it moves and how I can stop it moving

I used some rubber hose and a couple of hose clamps to stop my Whiteline sway bar moving around.

Could the LHS be seized or stuck? Did you grease the pin bolts when you installed the brakes? Brake lines bled properly?

As for sways, maybe try some cables ties or clamps on either side.

The brake sliders were lubed with HT grease when reassembled.
Im going to put a chamfer on the pads. and do an accurate measurement of the clearances/alignment and compare it with the RHS before I pull it apart. and then i will do a complete rebleed - using Lucas 600 race fluid.

I wont be able to do it till next week as I have to go to a wedding in Orange over the w/e. that means I wont be going the Central Coast Run on Sunday despite organising it.

My brother may take my car on the run so it dosnt feel left out!!

Brake slides should be lubed with a specific 'brake' grease - black stuff that is lithium based I think and available from most auto parts outlets. HT bearing grease would promote sticking and could be the source of your problem.

The grease I used was a Special HT grease I used in the glass industry for lubing machine parts that were working hot glass.

I will be pulling them off to check this week.
