Received my 15x8's from 949Racing.com
I got my wheels from Emilio today, I know these have been discussed in the forum before. The quality looks great, each wheel is stamped with a weight, mine are 5.79kg... not bad for the size.
I also got the alloy valve stems and the alloy nuts, the nuts are great value at $3.50 I think, really light and look cool in black !

I live in the states right now, but I think they are offering pretty good deals for shipping to oz. 4 of them wont go over the magic $1k import limit either.
Now I just have to figure out what tyres I am going to run on them....

I was going to run emilio's recommended nitto tyres, but i read some good and bad reviews on them. I ordered 225/50/15 A048 for the rear and will run 205 at the front... not sure how thats all going to work out for me but we will see !

Man these are hot rims....My only worry would be clearance problems. On the rear it mightnt be such a problem, however on the front it looks like it would...

We are living right in downtown San Francisco and I mostly fly for work, so no car purchase as yet. There are a lot of options though at prices that would make us cry in Australia... for now we use these guys when we need transport and its a brilliant service :

If you live downtown, zipcars are hard to go past... they are ridiculously cheap, we probably only spend the cost of just parking our own car each month ! We live within a block of at least 10 zipcars and there are 2 other companies if we wanted a bigger selection.
The best thing is that they recently added a bunch of brand new 328i's (which actually run the 3lt from our 330i and not a 2.8 as the badge suggests). For $25 more a day than a Honda Civic, it has to be the rental car deal of the century. All the things I have read about the BMW 3lt 6cyl are true.
