I am having trouble getting 14 inch tyres ! I can't find anything on this having just done a search, so I have to put up this post. I currently have 14 inch 94 \"Clubman\" wheels. Bob Jane say they haven't been asked for 14 inchers for...well the guy can't remember! I am trying to replace my Falken 195/55/R14s. Help wanted please. :?:

yep c.drives are great for the money. good grip, and also very progressive when they begin to give way.

i destroyed one of mine and had it replaced with a new one a few weeks ago (others are still very new so i just got one). when i got home i noticed that the new one was made in the philippines, but my old ones were made in japan. anyone else notice this change? :?

if you do get them, check each tyre to make sure they're fitted so that the correct sidewall is facing outwards before you leave the tyre shop. i had to take the new one back and get it swapped around.

I paid $195 when they first came out so you should be able to find them cheaper than that.

C-Drives were magic on my NA, if you get them be 'very' careful for the first 1000k's to wear off the Mold Release compound... They can let go very quickly until they are run in..

Thanks for the advice. I phoned Bob Jane back and first got the same answer - no 14 inch tyres.

Then I mentioned the Yoko C-drive and the B/stone G111s. Yep, they could get the Yoko's, not the B/stone. So I mentioned the Falkens - no go. So I mentioned the Dunlop Formula W1 Spec r that come as 195/55/R14 and are currently on the front of my car ...and...they could get them.

So I phoned another outlet, pretty much got told 14 inch is a tough size...yadda, yadda, ...then yes the could get the Dunlops, the Yoko's and a Falken 326,502,BN614, but not RT615's.

Their price on the Yoko's c-drive was $137 and about $190 on the Dunlop. Bob Jane was $130 on the Yoko and $185 on the Dunlop.

I have gone for the Dunlop coz it is 195. Getting fitted today - oh and the said they would charge me $178.

Thanks all :)

Brad you were correct, dropped into the local tyre place and he could do the 615s for $187 each. Pretty happy with that and I don't have to drive all over town to get them.
