Has anyone had the pleasure of replacing wheel hub bolts?
e.g.
http://www.stealth316.com/2-wheelbolt.htmI have the workshop manual and it says to use a press. Can I use a vice? or do I have to take it to a workshop to get it done?
Thanks

Smack the old one out with a Hammer
place the new one in and use a spacer under the wheel nut and tighten
it up.This will pull the stud into place.

On the of studs. Is there suppose to be some free play between the studs and the rotor? Cause i notice on my NB when I had the wheels off, I could move the studs from side to side approx. 1mm. The holes on the rotorsseems to be a tad. bit bigger than the studs them selves. Is this normal.

that doesnt sound right.
the studs themselves are held FIRMLY in place in the wheel hub, and have to be hammered out with a sledge hammer.
they are not supposed to move at all.
the brake rotor itself fits \"over\" the wheel hub (ie. the wheel studs are not attached to the rotor itself.
that being said you should not be able to move the studs from side to side AT ALL.
get it checked out before your wheel falls off
