G'day....Curious...is it possible to get a wheel spacer to change the stud pattern of a car, eg so that a 5 stud wheel can be bolted to a 4 stud hub

only problem with the 4 to 5 stud is that you'll have to keep it at 4x100 to 5x100 because these style of spacers use one of the existing studs but they just lengthen it. I have yet to see it done another way..
You can always get the wheels re-drilled just ask the place if they can do it first.

Re-drilling isnt an option. The wheels are a 5 x 114.3 stud pattern, unfortuantely not made in 4x100.....looks like there's some spacer searching to be done...

Re legalities, they are legal so long as they're simply like a giant washer, and the wheel can still be centred on the wheel, or if it bolts to the hub, and the wheel bolts to the spacer, it must have the inner lip that will centre the wheel on the spacer.

That and just as if you were fitting wider wheels, they can't stick out past the wheel guards

I did some searching around some time ago and found some places in the USA that made them.Trouble is that they are 25mm thick, they bolt to the hub and have threaded studs coming through from the other side. They are illegal in Aus.
