New Buddy club wheels on her NC

Hey guys. I'm working at Buddy club AUSTRALIA now as a graphic designer and my girl and I have just chucked a few goodies on the NC (her NC!).
Buddy club don't make a hell of a lot of goodies for MX-5's but they have just become the official distributor of AutoExe goodies which are ALL for Mazda. I can get 10% off for everything in the catalog so if you need anything let me know.
Also. I've created a customer car gallery on the Buddy club web site, so if you've got Buddy club gear on your car and want to show it off on the official Buddy club site, send the pics on through! Site URL:

Here are some pics of the P1 Racing SF wheels (cast wheels, not the ultra lightweight forged QF's which cost almost 3 times more). Wheels are 17x7 +42 re-using the stock tyres.
Yes the car could do with some lowering. Here's a photoshopped image:
Any suggestions on lowering? She doesn't want to spend a lot of money on coilovers. Car is a daily driver and will not see the track. Lowering would be purely for appearance only so any suggestions on some lowering springs would be great. Not looking to slam it like the above doctored image too, just looking to lower it a couple of inches at most. It's awful how much greater the gap between the tyre and wheel arch is on the front than the back! Thanks in advance for any suggestions guys.
