PSS9's or TIEN's

Guys after doing in a shock on my setup Ive decided to go the whole hog so to say...
But which is better and why???
The PSS9's or the tien's
(Take into account I want street driving and not having to wear a kidny belt like I do now and then able to do a few ok alot more track days.My current setup is great for the track but sucks for the street)

your car deserves nothing but the best.....but it will cost you.
PSS9......thats what I want. But 3 K for suspension for a 6K car....well maybe not.

I reckon get the Aragostas that Jolt is selling. FAR superior to Teins and if PSS9s are in the same ballpark as the Teins then the same should apply too.

I'm running aragosta's too, they are very nice. I've got stiffer springs than stock tho at 8k front and 6k rear (stock is 5 and 4). Shocks set on full soft have the smoothest ride i've ever had in my car and at 5/6 out of 15 clicks its a nice level of stiffness (bumpy roads are annoying).
I think they are worth new what the bilstiens are or maybe a tad less, cant compare the quality as i've never drove a 5 with the teins or bils.

I love the bilsteins, and the fact that they are servicable and rebuildable in Sydney makes them even sweeter. Don't know anything about the aragostas so i can't comment on them.

Pretty much anything is servicable buy suspension rebuilders, if they can't buy genuine parts they'll just put in whatever fits - which may be bad but you can ask for quality parts only..

No worries BigDog sounds like a plan.
We'll have to meet up soon. I want this all sorted ,ordered and in by the brass monkey run.Along with a new clutch, new tyres and a full service and maybe a little more fuel pressure to wind up the boost to suit....

I've got the Tein SS and EFDC setup so you can have a look at mine if you like
Personally, I prefer the Tein's - I drove Rodd's car when he had the PSS9's and thought they were too stiff for everyday driving (and he had it on the softest setting)
and with the EDFC you can adjust the damper settings from the drivers seat
