Hi im looking at upgrading the front brakes now my mx is turbo. Its currently got 1.8L NA8 brakes with good pads. But wouldnt mind something a bit more serious, with larger brake disk and 4pot ect
If you can give me some advice on performance and pricing and who to deal with that would be great.
any pics would be even better.
Thanks

Save yourself all the hassle and get a good-win racing big brake kit. They are the simplest way to upgrade your brakes and they work very well. Or, if you want some hassle, you could get the kit made up yourself but I reckon that unless you have contacts, getting custom made brake brackets are exxy plus you ahve to source all the bits. The good-win racing kit is simple and it works.

Or forget it and make sure your stock system is up to scratch. For a street/track combo, I reckon slotted standard rotors, Hawk HP+ pads, braided lines, Motul DOT 5.1 fluid and a master cylinder brace. I've raced my road car with that set up and it was great. If you can lock wheels at 200km/h, why would you need better brakes? What tyres are you running? That will make a bigger difference to your braking distances.

Yeah they might be really good but good frickin luck finding one to fit on a decent sized rotor and actually fit on an MX5 with a wheel than fits under the guards. Trust me, I've there right now and it's driving me to distraction.
Cal is spot on - but I'd hope you're already at that stage there.
