NA Wheel alignment settings

I was wondering, if moving from the 14 inch wheels to 15 inch wheels would you need a new alignment?

The reason i ask this is, say for example you move to 16s making the rolling diameter 20mm bigger (even though still using 45 profile tyres) would this additional diameter cause the car to understeer or push when cornering (I've only noticed when trying spirited turns).

If you have 0.5 deg neg camber, should you move to 1 deg neg camber to offset the extra rolling distance from the centre, or am i thinking too much into this?

It's just that with the 14s on c drives the car felt way grippier than with the 16s on sumitomos. I know they are completely different tyre types and i am probably comparing apples to zuchinnis, but i was surprised at the difference of the 2.

Any opinions would be welcomed.

Cheers
Nuno

Changing the diametre of your wheels does not effect your alignment. Difference in grip is probably tyres and weight of the 16\" wheels.

Thanks CB as i suspected.
:D
It feels the steering is less responsive or heavy for want of a better word (duh capatin obvious)...

I don't mind that, but the grip levels will be addressed with new tyres in the near future.

There's the answer in that sentence.

I found our car had improved ride and handling moving from Yoko 539s on 14" to Turanzas on 15" :|
