i treated my car to a service today at max kirwans' , and a set of 15x6 NB8A wheels (bought from mx5 plus) and yokohama c-drive tyres (bought and fitted at bob jane preston)
i'm really happy with the results. the car looks much better to my eyes. it just looks \"right\" now. those old wheels were a bit too bling for my tastes i guess, and the NB8A rims are much classier than the stock NA 14 inchers i think, as well.
steering is lighter as well and the car feels more balanced.
so anyway, from this :

ok, pics to come later tonight,
but it looks cool.
15x8 +35.
195/50/15 khumo ecsta SPT.
the feeling on centre is pretty weird, much much lighter than before, almost feels like power steering. after about 20degrees steering angle, it feels back to normal.
the tyres so far feel great compared to my RT615s, but i havent pushed it passed about 50%.

Fatty, watch out. The C-Drives can be scary slippery in the first few hundred kms until you wear off the mould release compound. They're a totally different tyre after 700km.

Yep, they feel like they're under inflated!

yeah i have been taking it easy. they feel better than my old tyres already tho, so i can't wait to see how they go after a few hundred k's.
