Wider rims at the back...potential problems?

Just a quick question. Would running slightly wider rims at the back, but still using same size tyres all round, be a potential problem? Cos there's a set of ZZW30 MRS rims for sale, but I heard that they are 15X6 at the front and 15X6.5 at the back.

Nah, a half inch isn't going to make any difference.

The only problem with that particular set up is the stud pattern if its of a 4 stud MR2 (MR2 = 4/114.3 PCD, MX5 = 4/100 PCD.)
5 stud MR2 Wheels should be no prob on a 5 stud MX5.

Pretty sure the MRS is 4x100, as i was thinking about getting those wheels for my old MR2 back in the day.
Might have to double check.

Well I got the rims
. Comes with a mix bag of 195/50 and 195/55 tyres on it, but I'll be throwing them out anyway. A bit of gutter rash oh them, but nothing major, and can't really see them with the matt black paint.
15X6 front - 6.62kg
15X6.5 rear - 6.89kg

. Oh well, you get what u paid for.
