Good tyre dealers in Sydneys Hills District??

Postby idb000 » Tue Nov 07, 2006 10:06 pm

Hi All,

It has come time for me to purchase some new tyres for my NB8B. Does anyone have a tyre dealer preferably in Sydney's Hills district they could recommend or have had good experience with in terms of service, prices, wheel alignments etc?

I haven't yet decided which tyres - thinking Toyo T1-R, Goodyear Eagle F1, or Michelin Preceda 2 - would welcome any input on this too...

Thanks in advance

Goodyear on Carringbah Dr. The bloke that runs it/owns it Genaro is a good man and will look after you. Price wise everywhere I have been around the Hills is the same and for me it just came down to customer service...he has done many alignments and wheel changes on my car and also fitted my king springs. I'm happy with him.

Thanx JSE.... I actually went done and saw Genero today to get new tyres and a wheel alignment. I spoke to a mate of mine who drives a skyline and is very fussy about his car and who he lets work on it, and he also recommended Goodyear Castle Hill. They did a good job on my new tyres and wheel alignment - it is driving like a new car again

Cool...Yeah all pretty experienced mechanics (notice next time that Genaro never employs more then 1 apprentice at a time). Good to hear all is well

Its also rego time too, so I went down to Genaro yesterday and he had one of his mechanics do a pink slip straight away. I was in and out very quickly, very good service :D
