Hey Guys,
I have no idea on tyres, so excuse my igornace...
One of my mich. Pilot 15inch 195/50 was rendered useless after it went flat on the weekend. It went flat so quick that I killed the tyre going home (running on the RIM - it was only 1km) It really pi$$e$ me off as K-Mart auto failed to repair a puncture twice. (It was the same tyre - 3 months after they tried to repair it)
Anyway does anyone know if I can still buy the original OEM tyre. Just one of them? or will I need to get two tyres. If so what tyres would you guys recommend? Money is very tight at the moment, but I guess on the same token, I dunno want to get dud tyres. Thanks a lot guys

I really liked the Yoko ES100's on my NB8A. They handled well, had fantastic stopping power and got great wear. Were a bit eager to let go on applying too much power when really cold, but fine after the first two corners. From memory they were only about $150 for the 15's. I recommend them.
They wouldn't be too good in a mixed pair, though with a completely different tread pattern to the pilots (which must be hard as rocks by now).

2015 ND MT GT Crystal White Pearl Mica (pic to come)
I bought the Yokohama ES100 195/50/R15 82V for my 2000NB.
They are pretty good. Better than the Pilots that came with the car.
The only small downside, is b/c they have a directional tread, there is a small amount of tracking (ie the tire pulls the steering slightly if there is camber on the road).
I think I paid about $150 per tyre. I can't remember where though?
Good Luck.
