Would these fit and what offset would it be?

Postby Bevan » Wed Jun 28, 2006 2:40 pm

I'm looking at a set of 15x7 mags and the guy doesn't know the offset. They were on a Honda Accord (4 x 100 stud pattern) and the only numbers the guy could find on the rim is:

5B02A1 2842 ET15 0465

Is the offset mixed in with those numbers at all? :?

Thanks. :)

EDIT: If it is +15 offset, whould they fit without scrubbing with a 205/50/r15 on a lowered NB8B?

 Crap, so this would be no good on my car, with stock wheels being +40 offset :?:

Thanks for the quick reply too. :)

You would probably find that they will fit. There are a few people running similar offsets / wheel widths without dramas!

Dunno what all those number mean but...Honda would not run a +15...they would be +35 or +40.
NC Roadie, NC Racey, ND Racey….and a 30AE

Plus several others in the bone yard...

Going by the ET15 , +15 is definately the offset. Perhaps they are aftermarket wheels that the accord owner fitted without really caring about the offset; as mentioned the current owner doesn't even know what the offset is.

ET15 does stand for +15 offset in wheel nomenclature, slight chance it could just be part of a wheel code? but i dont hink so.

If its a +15 offset then send em my way!!! I want wheels in that offset, as long as they look good too.

Pretty sure I saw a car at the natmeet track day with low offset rims on it, I remember taking a close up photo of them for that particular reason. See If can track down the photo tonight.

Had a look at the photos, I didn't include the numbers in the shot. Fairly certain they were +20 though.
