However, CB seems to be adjusting for the track and there's little mention of tread wear and long term use.
I understand that adjusting to a more aggressive camber setting will affect wear but the mechanic's warning that the tires will only last another 5000ks (on a 3 month old car) is a little worrisome.

The mechanic said that setting the camber at -1.5 would be great for racing, but since it is so far off spec, tire wear would be excessive and the tires won't last me more than 5000 - 10000 ks.
Do any of you have similar camber settings and have found problems with your tire life?

Salamander,
don't be afraid to start a new topic, using a descriptive title e.g. "Where to Source Eibachs in Sydney". Then you'll have no need to apologize for attempted hijack, and you'll be more likely to have someone who has appropriate information read your message than if it's hidden away under a thread about wheel alignements and tyre wear.
Sorry, can't help with the Eibachs.
Cheers,
Alf
