Street tyre Vs Semi slick

Are the alignment settings critical for semi slick tyres ( 888, DO2 ) etc ?
If I'm running normal alignment (eg CT's settings) with Yoko 539's if I swap to Toyo 888 for the extra grip does the alignment have to be reset ?
I realise that increasing the neg camber is usual but want to avoid tramlining etc for a car thats used 90% on road.
And if it handles well now won't upgrading the tyres just improve the grip level at the expense of wear,or will standard settings chew the tyres out.
As the car is a Sunday driver if I were to only get 10,000K out of a set that wouldn't matter if the grip was there.
Wheels are 14\" x 5.5\" and 185/60 x 14\" tyres.
Hopefully the brainstrust can enlighten me
Thanks
