Well, I have finally joined the 'lowriders' and fitted a set of Konis and Kings courtesy of Fra66L in Brisbane who has upgraded to Tein SS. Absolutely delighted with the look and feel - a total transformation from stock. Big thankyou to Dave and Gareth for helping out - made the job much easier!
So here's the before pics:

2. Rear:
3. Overall Shot:
4. We toyed with creating an NC look
5. The front shocks next to stock front. Note token Tein box - I can dream..

Noice one BD
Get ready to be amazed at what some half decent suspension does to the SP compared to the rolly polly stock NB8B stuff. If you thought it was fun before, that was nothin.

Looking for a match race Camel Boy??
Working on the weight issue, but really need to get better seats! Sitting in Dave's car is so much nicer than mine - the leather seats have extra padding for some reason, so I sit 'on' rather than 'in'. Am looking at some aftermarket jobbies at present... will let you know how I go.

Looks good John, how long did the job take and how much lower is it?

Took about four hours with two helpers - would take a couple of days on your own....
Car is 20-25mm lower measuring from guard lip to wheel centre, and I wouldn't want any lower than this - driveways and speed humps are a challenge.
