Nope, no young girls here...
After 2 weeks up on chassis stands, The Green Meanie is back on it's feet complete with Teins (SS) new bushes (poly & OEM) and an NB TorSen.
<Insert shameless plug for Graham and Callum at Fulcrum Marooka - great guys>
Still fiddling with the settings and bedding them in ready for QR on Tuesday but initial feelings are Gooood! The LSD makes tail-out moments way more fun and doable in the dry (if determined).
Yet to try it in the wet...

And thanks to the Tein Bug I fitted my Koni/King combination today - what an improvement! I love it! Thanks Fra66L and Dr Tein!

Take some spanners to the track with you. You'll want them to unbolt the rear sway bar with.

I know there's a good reason Matty.....
Reduce over-steer?
Shouldn't hit the a-arms as it's sitting a little higher now than on the Konis/Kings...

Correct. I assume you have the 7/6kg F/R spring rates? You'll want either a big front sway bar, and/or no rear bar, to balance it out. High speed oversteer is exciting to say the least...

I found mine very neutral at the track. QR has several high speed turns, T1 and T2 midcorner I'm doing 135 and 120 respectivly. I did have mine set to 14/14 initially then went to 15/13 and it was very neutral and predictable.

The SS's are pretty good Matty - not like our HA or Flexs - much more neutral.

Spring rates:
HA: 5/4 = oversteer
SS: 6/5 = ?
Flex: 7/6 = oversteer
I find it difficult to believe that the SS's are steady-state neutral at the limit...

I thought that too before I bought them - but they are pretty good. Their damping is very nice and for some strange reason, they just work well on the NBs. I think they are the perfect setup on an NB, firm and well damped but not crashy at all. I really like what it's done to our road car.

Bear in mind also that these are the Aus-delivered (Fulcrumised) Tein SSs so they're not as firm as the Jap-spec model...
Didn't make the damn track day today after all (bugger it!) thanks to a nasty stomach bug. Have to wait until next month.
CT - been following the thread on sways - I believe the bars on the NB are slightly bigger but I'm curious as to how much of a difference they make on the NBs... thoughts?
SSs - Brings back memories of the SS Essess - too many Lloyd Briges movies
Cheers,
T

The spring rate is the same whether it's jap spec or fulcurm spec, not sure if they have changed anything on the shocks tho.
