Hi all .. I dont quite know where to put this so i,ll start here . When i drive my NA8 diagonally across a spoon drain or dip in the road i get a \"crack\" i can feel and hear. It seems to come from under my feet or somewhere close. The hard top sometimes does the same thing but that is easily identifiable. Had a bit of a crawl around under the car this morning and could find nothing obvious. Sprayed the rubber bushed joints with silicon lubricant and tried to tighten any bolts i could find. No joy
Anyony got any clues

Mine does the same occasionally. Seems to be the sway/roll bar mounts as it only happens like you said with diagonal loading.

I had the same noise and tracked it down to shocks bottoming on bump stops.

Thanks guys. I do know i have some cheap after market shocks fitted and my local susp, tyre guy suggested it may be that. I guess i,ll have to upgrade at some time ,budget and HER permitting
