With all the parallel importing of shyte tyres I'd never buy a set off some of the smaller independant retailers now, let alone of Ebay. Tyres are just too critical for that kinda risk IMHO, as they are the only thing holding you to the road, and especially given the spirited way us lot drive. The Toyo tech talk has made me very wary of so called cheap tyre bargains.

so they're sh*t?
i dont want sh*t tyres.. just thought they were good, and at an extremely good price.
but if they're crap quality, forget it then. mite use it for burnouts.

I have just bought a set of Nexen 185/60/r14 off this guy and am expecting deleivery any day. The price of these are $10 dearer each than a set of second hand tyres. I am a strong believer on NOT paying exorbant prices of ANY retailer these days.
Considering I still have mud/snow tyres fitted to the car, these MUST be better
Once fitted, I'll give some feedback

They're crapola, if you wanna slip and slide get cheap crap tyres.
If you wanna corner faster splash the cash and get quality tyres.

nope, i'll post some pics from the SA vs WA meet yesterday soon.
A brand new set of Nankings lasted about 5 laps of Wannaroo before delaminating.

Yep, ive heard similar stories of Nankangs failing in a big dangerous way after only a few laps on the track from new........
If you want to get freindly with a lamp post then go for it, buy the Nankangs.

Im new to the forums but Ive been running them for a while now, theyre perfect for a run around tire, especially for the $$$, just for doing the k's on them ... But ...
I do agree ... unless your drifting, they can be a bit sketchy when pushing hard.
I wouldnt be racing on them thats for sure unless i was the pace car.
