Just wore out a set of new silverstones in 6 months, pretty good tyre for the price, id buy them again :)

Now i have Nankangs 205/45/16 pretty hard to beat at $100 each  Pretty happy with their performance too :)

Cheers Rob

I had Silverstone 205/40-17 on my car when I bought it. The only good thing I will say about these sports tyres is that they stop the rims from rubbing on the ground!

Would never use them again! They are worst in the wet.

I think they're up there with a set of retreads.

Save some more $$$ and get something decent.

Silverstones, and Nankangs are better than bridgestone out-of-rounders in horrid sizes, but they really can't be compared to the likes of the GSD3, or the RT215 etc....

the only reason i would buy silverstones again is if my car was a weekend car and ALL i used my car for was donuts and burnouts....

really reallly poor grip...thats all i can say.

Ended up getting Nankang NS-1's, cause that's all they had :?

They seem to stick quite well though??

Good one Max, what did they set you back?

BTW mine are the ultrasport 11's and i'm pretty happy with them and will have to use them at Sandown if it rains :P

$140 per tyre

Neale Wheels are very good - One of the guys there managed to get a nasty buckle out very well - Also gave me some discounts too :) (Cause I got the rubber, buckle and I also got some lock nuts)
