Haha I've been through cut springs before...wasn't a good experience even if the commodore I did it on wasn't a good experience anyway

HELP ME DECIDE.
I'm in the process of changing the look of my plain black rims. I'm sanding the black off the face. I've only done one so far and before I go to the trouble of final touch up and clear coat, I'd appreciate your opinions. I'm unsure, do I keep going (it's a lot of work) or do I just repaint black again.

I'm not normally a fan of totally black wheels, but personally in this case I would go with all black. :)

Yeah they are. I had the lettering painted but it flakes off too quickly with spirited driving.

Ah good, aparently some Federals that came out of a Chinese factory made it into Australia. I baught RS-R's and I will not drive on a Chinese tyre 8)

Well its a Taiwanese company so i'd assume they'd be manufactured in Taiwan.

.....and two tire manufacturing plants: original plant in Jhongli, Taiwan and 100% owned plant in China, Jiangxi, Nanchang (acquired in 1997).

I hopefully think they won't bring them into Australia nor make their higher end tyres in China.
