[quote="Regie" I have found them a bit bounce in the rear, but i will let them settle first before i adjust anything.

good stuff. Report back what changes you make, if any, and for what circumstances. As in road or track

good day today, those shocks rock on the track, started off with winding them up 5 clicks from full hard, nice and stiff through the corners, second session put them up full hard, and man its rock solid around the track.
after some mucking around with the setup in the arvo and some tips from the 5th gear instructors i dropped just under 4 seconds off my morning time.
i feel to go quicker ill be needing a proper seat and harness, im sliding all round the place oh and some R specs
best $1K ive spent
Ill do a full report in the coming days, im off to bed...im rooted! and want to hit the surf early in the morning

Re: Yellow Speed Racing coilovers
The BC's don't affect spring preload on the rear though, the whole design is different to these.
There Yellow Speeds appear to be identical to the G4/D2/K-sport range, just coloured like BC's.
I'll be switching my G4's out for some BC's soon, I'm sick of the bouncing in the ass end of the car.

You're right RG, I only looked at the fronts - kind of weird to have spring and height adjustment on the front but not the rears?

Re: Yellow Speed Racing coilovers
mine look exactly like those BC's
mine was the first set to have adjustable shock bases on the rear as well as spring perches

Now that's interesting!
So they might have switched suppliers which produce the BC's?
I'll need to get a ride in your car Regie, before I go on the hunt for new coilovers.

Re: Yellow Speed Racing coilovers
Hey Guys!
We asked Yellowspeed to develop these coilovers with the adjustable base to compete with rival companies. We used these last weekend in the Wakefield 300km race. The Mx5's that finished 1st and 2nd both had the premium competition coilovers in them..
David also did a 1:06.8 in Goldie during the weekend... (there is no turbo on that car )
Hear are some pictures of both types of coilovers which all now have the adjustable base at the rear.
Dynamic Pro Sport Coilovers
Suited for Road/Track Day Use
$995 - Set of 4 (suit NA/NB 89-05)
Premium Competition Coilovers
Suited for Racing Use
$1095 - Set of 4 (suit NA/NB 89-05)
Regards

Re: Yellow Speed Racing coilovers
Would someone be able to give me an idea of how the new ysr coilovers stack up to the BC ones? I've been looking into getting a set of BC's for ages but recently been reading up on the yellowspeed coilovers and I'm unsure which to go for. The YSR are a lot cheaper but seem far better value, especially the competition spec ones with the heavier springs.
Would anyone be able to get some light on this? Because even the highest performance Yellow Speed Racing coilover seems cheaper than a set of BC's.

Sooo, anyone give me any feedback to my question?

Re: Yellow Speed Racing coilovers
Like you Nanotech I have been weighing up BC BR's vs YSR ones. Both have same spring rates unless you go for the top YSRC's, and similar adjustable damper settings and full length adjustment, but $300 difference. Would appreciate any comparisons from experience. Also would be interested in a group buy
