Hey Zombie, keep an eye on your radiator. It's now badly discoloured (brownish/green), I've been told when the top of the radiator on the 5 gets like this, its a sign that its passed its used by date.

The Mania website lists the CF model as 2kgs and the aluminium one as 1.76kgs... As stated above I'm guessing the CF is actually adding weight in this instance :( Still looks sweet though!

Thanks for the tip!

I've had no problems with overheating, even on warm days like today (39ºC) the temperature stays in the centre, but I will keep an eye on it.

Overheating isn't the problem... it's more that they are starting to crack and then leak
So keep an eye on the coolant levels (or spots of coolant on the garage floor) as it can still do it's job cooling the engine while it's on its way out
Look for coolant sitting between where the top tank mates with the core

Hi I have bought a Mazdaspeed strut brace for my NA. Where the long bolts are I am going to weld the bar to the uprights, leaving the bolts in place. This will make it a one piece unit except for the adjustment in the centre
