Ben don't stress about the track day you will be fine, I can't imagine you as the type to try and be a hero first time out. Anyway have a think about it and look forward to seeing you at Winton.

I'll add my voice to Winton being the best place to start. I started there for that reason. There's heaps of runoff and such is the layout of the circuit that cars don't tent to approach you at such high speed or at such inopportune places as at other circuits. You tend to know they're coming for a fair while and have plenty of time to get out of the way.

And you're not the sort of idiot to charge onto the track and try to break land speed records first time out!
