Hmm, BTW I got a VS for sale if you want to try your hand at it, $2500 and its all yours. Of course, the Konis and Kings on mine are useless to you with all that plating you want to do.

I guess I am too late to enter this, but that is OK as I didn't rsvp anyway. Pity though, I even had fresh shiny fluid in the turret boot, surely that will be in the judging list. I'll see about dropping in to see all the shiny cars though.

Jeff - make sure there is no grit in the rear demister connector too. That bit is definitely not under the bonnet or in the boot.

Now, about the tyre prices.....

Well . . . I don't believe Jeff has stated whether he needs them for the NB or the NC, what I am concerned about is the increase in unsprung weight that a set of chrome PP2s would cause on handling not to mention the Noise & Vibration.

Though it does appear that Jeff has made some concessions for weight by eliminating the rear exhaust altogether  I'm sure he's well aware that there is a 100dB limit at Lakeside
Went for a drive and there were slow cars everywhere, why are NC's so common . . . must be NC = Normally Cardiganed.
