Rear toe is normally used to manage straight line stability under power. Too much in either direction can result in oversteer. Preference should for a small amount of toe in.

Well again that depends what you want the car to do.
Also, my car is running 5mm toe out a side in the back, its fine.
Anyways the point is that adding toe in will reduce the amount the car pivots, adding toe out will increase it.
