After a quick squirt around today, I have got to say that these are pretty good, and on a value for money scale at $100 a corner for 15\", most impressive.

I know that you could pay a lot more and get an inferior product.

Did not find any wet stuff all dry, so will reserve my full opinion till I get to have a run in the rain.

Noise was not an issue, but that could easily change as they wear.

CT, you should check tempe tyres for a price on your size.

Sounds like I need to get me a set of those and trash the crappy Nankangs passed down from the previous owner.

I think that Kumho was formerly Nangkang!

That might be the case but it doesn't change the fact that the Nankangs on my car are rubbish... :!:

As a rough guide, Tempe Tyres charged me $100 a corner for 195/50/15. The funny thing is they always ask me how much I was quoted for them, and although I was quoted $100, I'm always tempted to say $90 and see what happens.

Has anyone from melb. bought the KU31?

The best price I can find is $125 from the major budget chains :(

I might have to put your theory to the test... :D

I seriously doubt that you will come close to matching Tempe on the price for these tyres, they import them. So, as I experienced you will be at least $25 a corner more, that is simply retail dynamics.

And they actually stick in the wet

Yeah, I remember someone on here saying they picked them up for $90 a corner, although it wasn't from Tempe Tyres. It might've actually not been someone from NSW either...

Still, it'll be interesting to see if they don't bat an eyelid and just write $90/corner down. It's a case of beer on them if it works, and make sure to let us know for next time ;)

That's cool. Tempe is only 10-15 min from work anyway so I might pop down at lunch sometime this week.

Maybe it was you that I saw saying that :P
I wonder what'll happen if you say $90 and they go "bugger off"?
