Spot on project.r

It is my first big mechanical purchase for this car. Don't want to make a bad decision

So hopefully you guys can forgive my nancyness with all the questions.

cant say much about BC other than ridden in others cars seems the same

iv had YSR for years now seem to be hold up well

YSR issues on NB8B

earlier shocks there was a clearance issue on front controller arm *SOLVED*

ignore instructions and turn preload up on rears atleast 10mm to keep of the stops

Coil overs are in, I got the yellowspeed v2's.

Just a heads up to anybody looking to get them.

Fitment is easy, no issues with that other then with the v2's, the rear shock protrudes the boot. Meaning your space saver does not fit in the factory position. You can still get it down, just mount it through a wheel hole.

If you pull the adjuster knob out of the shock, it should still fit... Shouldn't it?

Like you I have just installed the YSRs on my NC2. Set up with a two finger gap all round: with the lower adjustable brackets there is plenty of room to go lower front and back and slam the car if you wish.

The handbook advises against adjusting preload.

Did you get the v1 or v2?

Maybe it's the coil over not the road that is the issue ;)

For the most part they're OK, if i was driving it everyday i would be needing a chiropractor permanently at home and work but it only gets dríven once a week so it's not too much of an issue. Kidneys have held up well too.

If all roads were nice and flat, they'd be awesome.

neither are mine. but then i've been running coilovers on my dailys since 2005. so what some class as bumpy, i dont.

Daily Drive my NA with Yellow Speeds.

My settings are from full soft turning outwards.

Fronts: 16
Rears: 14

Initially had them at F10 and R8.

Guess its a little rough, but Ive gotten used it and see it as the norm now
