Interesting. Is this the case for all coilovers? I've not heard of it nor seen any manufacturers making a big deal out of it to ensure they are installed correctly.

Hmmm, after sending an email to HSD in the UK, apparently this shock orientation is correct... I'd best check mine as I didn't notice the LHS/RHS under the mounting knuckle.

It's something that a lot of people miss. I picked this tip up from the motorsport guys and the same info is on the US forums too.
