Its been a week since i have had KONI yellow struts and springs put into my car.
As such, iv put the setting to medium to keep a good balance in handling within corners. MY review comes under that setting.
Im very pleased with these and are a very good upgrade to any tired suspension (im pretty sure they havnt been change... ever 250,000 kmz old) for anyone who won't be doing any/much track. I was looking for something that would give me quality and better handling whilst being inexpensive. The understeer is drastically removed to the point of over-responsive, possibly due to the medium settings. There's little lean entering into turns but thats assumed to be normal. Previously there was a big dip in the rear when accelerating or in the front when braking, but this has been reduced significantly or removed entirely, which was a potential safety problem in emergencies (sudden braking/swerving, etc).
There is one negative that i have come across, and that it makes the car feel the road in its entirety. Any slight bump or drop in the road is felt with this system, and i'm not sure if that is attributed to the different springs (lower than stock) or medium setting, but it can get annoying. Above you will read a member saying that this will make the car 'harsher', and i see what that person means. However when you enter and exit turns, this system will do as you ask and respond how you want an MX5 to respond - playful yet concise.
With everything said, this is a fantastic upgrade to any car. If you are in need of changing stock struts and lowering the car, consider these.
I do thank everyone who replied and helped and i appreciate the help from everyone!
