I'd suggest that OEM tyres and OEM suspension give OEM performance and ride.
OEM performance and ride = Compromised performance and ride.
You cannot improve the OEM ride much but can certainly improve the performance by sacrificing a little ride.
Having said that, my NC on std springs with Tokico HTS shocks, FatCat bumpstops and adjustable F&R bars had a better ride than OEM.
That is one mod that is often overlooked, Bumpstops can be changed to tune the suspension to give a stiffer effective spring rate during roll while still giving OEM ride quality.

Re: Coilovers and swaybars question - NC
Sorry Chris, I didn’t know you were running Ohlins. USA owners claim they are THE best shock for the NC, price wise they should be. Rob would agree and I also support his thoughts with regard to the factory set up.
Back to the Ohlins and if you should add heavier sway bars for the road and track application.
This is one of those questions that’s hard to respond to as there are many answers. As your Ohlins have spring rates atleast five times heavier than stock, I’d start by tuning the suspension via the dampers to balance the car at the track, assuming you have a good alignment to start with.
If (or when) you get to the point that you feel you need more adjustment, then go to adjustable sways.
Next time we’re at the track I’ll have a chat with you about what I've done and the associated trade-offs.
